Travel to Island Maio
You can travel from Praia (on the island of Santiago) to the Cape Verdean island of Maio in two ways:
1. By ferry
The ferry runs several times a week, depending on the season and the weather, and takes about 2,5 hours.
2. By plane.
Flying is the fastest, taking approximately 20 minutes and the plain flies 3 times a week.
The B&B is located about 2 km from the harbor and 4 km from the airport.
- We kindly ask all guests to email us their arrival time at Island Maio, so we can arrange to pick you up at the Harbor or Airport.
